Here we have a reconditioned Bergmann BTG-185 Grand Piano Make: Bergmann Model: BTG-185 Finish: (PE) Polish Ebony Statues: Used/Reconditioned Bergmann Pianos These pianos were made at the Tianjin facility, which at the time was the biggest piano factory in China, and was founded in 1997 by the Young Chang piano firm. The Bergmann piano was last manufactured in 2007, and it is no longer made. In 1970, the South Korean company Young Chang Piano began manufacturing pianos. As the business developed, it added new product lines, including the Pramberger, Weber, and Bergmann pianos. In 1990, they also acquired the Kurzweil digital piano business. The business constructed a few manufacturing facilities, the greatest of which being a piano factory in Tianjin, China, in 1996. Though on a lower scale, Young Chang is still making pianos today.
