They were highly competitive with the Steinway model M ( 5ft 7) and some strongly feel (myself included) that they were a superior instrument. This one was made in 1970. The case is in decent condition. There are some scratches and dings that we've touched up, but it still has some wear. The hammers, wippens, and action parts are in good shape, and are all original. The strings are lively and in great shape as well. The piano has a bold, rich American sound , like the Steinways, and Mason & Hamlin pianos. The projection and sustain are awesome.
