The Mason & Hamlin Model AA is a 6-foot-4-inch (193 cm) parlor grand piano celebrated for delivering a rich, powerful, and large sonic capacity often found in significantly larger instruments. These American-made pianos are renowned for their “overbuilt” construction, which features thick hard rock maple rims and the proprietary Tension Resonator, ensuring superior durability, stability, and a warm, sustaining tone. The characteristic Mason & Hamlin tone is typically American—lush, singing, and powerful, often described as having a more powerful bass and clearer treble than a Steinway.
