This piano has undergone typical restoration for an instrument of its age that was used for both concertizing and teaching. It is in EXCELLENT condition and is a steal at the price listed. Considered to be one of the top piano manufacturers in the world, Blüthner (founded in 1853) is often compared with Bösendorfer and German Steinways and rated above American Steinways. Blüthner pianos have beech rims, solid spruce soundboards, Delignit pinblocks, Renner actions, custom Abel hammers, and feature their exclusive patented Aliquot system and are known for their clarity and singing qualities.
