A part of the vintage Baldwin Collection from local San Antonio piano technician Thomas Massinter. The Baldwin Model M is an American Made legacy of the Baldwin piano company. Introduced in the 1940s, the Model M Grand was a popular model to many homes, institutions, performer choices, and studios because of it's strong bass often described as a "growl" and clear treble. The construction of the Baldwin Grand pianos demonstrate the workmanship with durable features such as a multi-ply maple pinblock for tuning stability and wet sand cast iron plate. With cabinet finish damage, scratches and scuffs, this piano has damage consistent with age and use. It is structurally sound and still plays nice.
