1911 Bluthner Studio upright

The Blüthner Upright (1911) reflects the quietly refined character that made Blüthner one of Leipzig’s most respected piano makers. Built during the company’s golden era, this instrument carries the warm, singing tone and smooth, responsive touch associated with Blüthner’s historic scale design. Rebuilt in Germany in 2006, it plays and presents impressively well for its age—clean lines, stable regulation, and a voice that still feels confidently lyrical. As a family‑owned manufacturer still operating in Leipzig—the city of Bach, Mendelssohn, and Schumann—Blüthner remains widely regarded as one of the world’s premier piano builders. This 1911 upright offers a charming blend of heritage, craftsmanship, and renewed condition, making it an appealing choice for players who appreciate historic European instruments. Size: 52”.
