Kawai KG-1D WS (Pre-Owned)

The Kawai KG1D Baby Grand Piano is a classic baby grand piano built by the respected Japanese manufacturer Kawai, combining craftsmanship and musical quality in a compact 5′ 1″ instrument ideal for homes, studios, or smaller performance spaces. Produced in Hamamatsu, Japan, the KG‑1D is known for its solid spruce soundboard and quality action, both of which contribute to a rich, resonant tone with warm bass and clear treble that suits a wide range of musical styles. Pre‑owned examples often feature traditional finishes like walnut satin or ebony, and many owners and dealers describe its touch as responsive and balanced, making it suitable for advancing students and dedicated pianists alike. The KG‑1D has a longstanding reputation as a well‑built mid‑level grand, offering professional‑sounding performance in a space‑efficient package that reflects Kawai’s nearly century‑long tradition of piano making.
